Troop 10 camped at Village Creek State Park in Lumberton, Texas on May 25, 2013. We enjoyed a few miles of canoeing and kayaking on the Village Creek, too!

Get your gear ready for the upcoming canoe trip to Big Thicket Preserve north of Beaumont, Texas this weekend. We’ll be leaving bright an early Saturday morning from in front of St. Piux X Elementary at 6:15 p.m.
It’s a bit over two hours to Big Thicket so eat breakfast before you come, or bring breakfast with you.
The troop will provide lunch on Saturday and patrols should have already planned dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.
Please bring money for lunch on our return trip on Sunday.
